By default, all pre-designed orders will come with a Standard clear acrylic backboard, cut around around the letters.

BACKBOARD MATERIALS.

• Standard Clear Acrylic (Default & most common) [See Example]

• Glossy White Acrylic [See Example]

• Glossy Black Acrylic  [See Example]

• Silver Acrylic [See Example]

• Gold Acrylic [See Example]

• Invisible backboard - This is actually a style of cut (You will see more about this in backboard styles)

BACKBOARD STYLES.

• Cut Around (Default style & most common) - Clear acrylic cut loosely around the neon, following its general shape.

• Rectangle – Cut in a perfect rectangle around the neon.

• Cut to Letter - Backboard is cut very tightly around the shape of each letter.

• Naked Neon (Invisible Neon) – Backboard cut exactly to the neon tubes, with thin clear acrylic support strips running horizontally.

• Acrylic Stand – Neon mounted on a rectangular clear acrylic stand.

• Open Box – neon sandwiched between two clear acrylic sheets, secured with small clean covered screws in the corners.

MOUNTING/DISPLAY OPTIONS:

2. Signs for Outdoors

While our signs are made with the best quality in mind, if you think your sign will be living outside most of the time, we highly advise you add our waterproofing technology to your sign.

Please contact us before you order to discuss applying waterproofing technology + UV protection to your sign.

3. Colour

We have made selecting your desired colour or RGB option super simple. Your sign by default with be either monochrome or RGB depending on your preference. However, there is another option.

• Monochrome:

A single fixed neon colour of your choice + Ability to control brightness & mode/effect.

• RGB:

Ability to change your neon to any RGB colour + ability to control brightness and mode/effect.

• Rainbow:

You customise different sections of the design with a variety of fixed/monochrome colours + ability to control brightness and mode/effect.

4. Positioning your neon

Plan ahead - Make sure your neon has a good spot in your space!

Things to consider:

Q: Is my neon the correct size for my intended spot?

A: Measure your space, check it against your neon size (contact us if you need custom size)

Q: Is there a power outlet within 2m? (Our neon come with 2m of cord)

A: Normally, 2m is more than enough! But if you find yourself needing a little extra length, you can add extra Cord length to your cart! You can find it as a seperate product and add the amount you need (Meters). No, you wont just be delivered a cord as a seperate product, you will simply be increasing the cord length attached to your sign!

5. Integrated Neon VS Fixed neon

This is not something you should worry about too much, we will most likely be the ones to recommend integrated or split neon depending on the design. However, always handy to learn about!

• INTERGRATED NEON:

With integrated neon, the light tube and the design are built into one neat, solid piece. Everything is connected, no gaps, no spaces – just smooth, continuous light. It gives a super clean, modern look, and it’s great for designs where you want everything to flow together seamlessly.

• SPLIT NEON:

Split neon is when the neon tubing is made in separate sections, with small gaps in between. Each section is its own piece, which can give you more flexibility in shaping complex designs or using different colours. It’s a bit more classic and handcrafted in feel – perfect if you want that traditional, segmented neon vibe.
